UKRAINE GOVERNMENT SIGNS BILL TO LEGALIZE CRYPTO  by E. Okorie, 18th of March , 2022

The Ukrainian Government has finally signed bill to legalize crypto in the country. Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky signed the bill to create a framework for bitcoin and other cryptocurrency for it's regulation and legal use in the country. This event was necessary after various cryptocurrency donations from various countries were received in the country by generous people in the world. The first phase would involve KUNA (Ukraine first crypto exchange) converting cryptocurrency gotten from generous contributions to the country (due to the war in Ukraine) into fiat currency. The government seeks to also partner with Exchange giants FTX to convert contributions gotten from cryptocurrency to Fiat for deposit into the National bank of Ukraine.

The war in Ukraine has changed the President decision who Vetoed against cryptocurrency and it's regulations in September 2021 arguing that the cost of creating a new regulatory body was too high. However, the war in Ukraine saw it's implementation quite easy.

We hope for Peace to be restored in Ukraine and pray for its citizens to continue to use cryptocurrency as bitcoin is ok to use.
